In order to take full advantage of the program as a supplier of services or applications, you will need to take each of your offerings through the certification process. For a summary of the benefits of the program to our partners, please read more about the SunTone Program.
Membership is the first step towards securing these benefits. It is required to gain access to the SunTone specifications and SunTone supplier information. These industry-defined and technology-leading methodologies and requirements are used to review solutions submitted for SunTone certification. In addition, SunTone membership promotes interaction between members and companies offering SunTone Certified Solutions. This in turn allows them to design the end-to-end multisourced solutions their customers require.
If you or any part of your company have already secured a SunTone membership, please request access information from your existing company administrator. This will avoid duplication of data entry, and ensure that all information regarding the offerings of all parts of your organization is properly handled under the same corporate identity.
Upon review and acceptance of your membership application, you will be granted access to the SunTone Member Portal. This restricted-access area houses all the information and documents required to submit your solution(s) for SunTone certification and track the process through completion. In addition to the specifications, you will find certification assistance programs, materials and contact information to help you through this process.
From there, you will be able to submit applications for certification of your offerings. One application will be required for each distinct offering or package, since the certification process examines each product or service individually.
Once an offering has been SunTone Certified, it can be fully promoted as such, and be given the extra visibility granted among others by the certified solutions search functions of the public SunTone web site. In addition, each newly certified offering is eligible for activation in the SunTone MarketPlace, which has been created to exploit cooperative business development opportunities between suppliers of SunTone Certified services and products.
